Delivery Timescales

Returns Policy
Due to the bespoke nature of Bojou jewellery with each item being individually made to order, I am unable to provide a full refund for returns. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your jewellery you may return the goods within 14 days, unworn, in perfect condition, complete with packaging and proof of purchase and an exchange to the same value or a credit note will be provided (please see exemptions below). Exchanges are offered at my sole discretion.
Please contact me prior to returning an item with details of the problem. Returns must be sent via the Royal Mail's 'Special Delivery' service at the customer’s expense and insured for the full cost of the item within the time stated. I cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns if they are sent by normal or recorded post.
All items are checked before they are sent out. Please check your order upon delivery. I must be contacted within three days of receipt, in the unlikely event of damage or loss.
Items that cannot be returned:

Jewellery that has been specially made to your own requirements cannot be returned. A non-refundable deposit will be required for all commissions.
Earrings:
For hygiene reasons Under UK Health and Safety law, pierced earrings cannot be returned.

Jewellery Care
Sterling silver is prone to tarnishing, particularly through everyday wear and tear.
Highly polished silver will lose its sheen for a number of reasons, for example, contact with detergents, chlorine, salt water, fresh water and beauty products such as perfume, hairspray, soap and so on. Exposure to air can also cause silver to lose its shine. Try to avoid contact with the products mentioned and store your jewellery in either a jewellery box or wrapped in a soft cloth or acid free tissue. Ensure the item is not in contact with other jewellery to avoid pieces rubbing together.
Inevitably tarnishing is unavoidable, but highly polished jewellery can easily be cleaned using anti-tarnish care cloths.
Matt finishes will naturally become shinier in time. I am happy to restore matt finishes for a small fee plus postage.
